The sink, sorted
One stand for the whole sink.
The sink is the messiest corner of the nicest room. Diska replaces the usual pile with one object you'd happily leave out.
A 150 g paste block that sits in its own glazed tray. No bottle, no drips down the side.
Two plant-based sponges stand upright side by side, on a draining tray so they dry.
A tall slot keeps bristles off the worktop. Heads twist off and get replaced.
Glazed stoneware in four colours, with a removable tray and beech feet.
How it works
Swirl. Wash. Rinse. Rest.
Paste works like washing-up liquid, just without the bottle. You use less, and it lathers where you need it.
Swirl
Wet the brush and swirl it on the paste. A few turns covers a sink of dishes.
Wash
Wash as usual. Use the sponge for glasses, the brush for plates and pans.
Rinse
Rinse the dishes, then the brush and sponge under the tap.
Rest
Stand everything back in its slot. The tray drains it and air dries it.
Inside the Stand
Made to drain, made to last.
Matt stoneware outside, glazed inside, so paste and water wipe straight off.
Drainage
A perforated base in the brush pot and open sponge slots let water run off, so nothing sits wet.
Paste pot
A square glazed pot holds the paste block, fits snug to the brush pot and lifts out to rinse.
Brush pot
A tall square pot takes two or three brushes upright, heads in the air.
Beech feet
Four turned beech feet keep it dry underneath and kind to the worktop.

Materials
What it's made of.
Stoneware
Fired clay, matt outside and glazed inside. Heavy enough not to tip, dishwasher safe.
FSC beech
Brush handles and feet from certified forests, oiled, with a twist-lock collar for new heads.
Tampico and sisal
Plant-fibre bristles. Tampico for plates, stiffer sisal for pans.
Cellulose, loofah, coir
Sponges made from wood pulp, dried gourd and coconut husk. Home compostable.
Plant-based paste
Plant-derived cleaning agents, bicarbonate, glycerine and essential oils. No phosphates or chlorine.
Kraft and pulp
Recycled card box, moulded-pulp insert, paper tape. Nothing plastic in the post.
Questions
Good to know.
Does paste clean as well as washing-up liquid?
Yes for everyday washing up: it lathers on the brush and cuts grease. For a greasy roasting tin, give it a soak first, as you would with liquid. We're testing it against a leading liquid and will publish the results before we ship.
How long does a paste refill last?
Around six weeks of daily washing up for a household of two, based on early testing. That's why the Refill Club defaults to every 8 weeks with sponges and a brush head included; you can change it any time.
Is it safe for my hands?
The paste is made with plant-derived cleaning agents and has no phosphates, chlorine or synthetic dyes. If your skin is sensitive, choose Unscented. It will be safety assessed before sale.
Can the Stand go in the dishwasher?
Yes, the Stand, drainage tray and paste dish are all dishwasher safe. Rinse the paste dish now and then between refills.
What happens to old sponges and brush heads?
Sponges go in your home compost or food waste. Brush heads are plant fibre on a wooden base; compost the head and recycle the metal staple if there is one.
When will my set arrive?
The first batch is expected to ship in early 2027. We'll email you a firm date once production samples are signed off, and you can cancel for a full refund at any point before it ships.

Shipping, returns and terms.
Shipping
Pre-orders from the first batch are expected to ship in early 2027. We ship within the UK by tracked post; delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Refill Club boxes ship free. If production runs late we'll email you a new date, and you can cancel for a full refund.
Returns
You can cancel a pre-order any time before it ships for a full refund. Once it arrives you have 14 days to tell us you want to return it, and a further 14 days to send it back unused in its box. Opened paste can't be returned for hygiene reasons. If anything arrives broken, send us a photo and we'll replace it.
Privacy
We use your name, address and email only to take your order, deliver it and tell you about it. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. We don't sell your data. Ask us to see or delete what we hold at any time.
Terms of sale
By placing a pre-order you agree to pay the price shown at checkout, including VAT where applicable. Images are illustrations and colours may vary slightly between stoneware batches. Your contract is with Diska, a washing-up brand based in the United Kingdom. These terms don't affect your statutory rights.
